At the Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health and Science Charter School, we take pride in offering a robust certification program so that our students can become qualified for a career immediately after high school graduation.

More specifically, our school offers certification in becoming a CFR (Certified First Responder) and an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician).

Programs are available to 11th and 12th grade students.
